Absence Line is completely configurable to suit the individual requirements of any client. Most clients will see an initial rise on absence levels as 100% reporting is achieved. After the initial period, with the aid of our systems and interventions, absence rates will begin to decline, particularly in short term persistent absences. Whilst management interventions will reduce short term absence, medical interventions and better long term absence support mechanisms can help to reduce the impact of longer term absences. Absence Line provides mechanisms to help identify those who would benefit most from medical interventions.
As well as the cost benefits that come from a reduction in absence rates, an additional benefit comes from increased staff morale, as with Absence Line, the absence process is exactly the same for all absences, regardless of manager or department.
If required, Absence Line can distinguish between sickness absence and non sickness absence when providing reports. This will enable the client to easily see which type of absence is most problematic and address this accordingly.
